The Cast

Omari Chancellor

Omari Chancellor is an actor and writer from the U.S. Virgin Islands. Omari received their MFA in Theater from NYU’s Graduate Acting Program. Omari enjoys helping young actors sharpen their skills while generating work that has an overwhelming sense of looseness and play. As an actor and performer his work has appeared at NYU, UCB Los Angeles, and various plays at the Williamstown Theater Festival. As a writer, his prose and film content have been featured in SoftPunk Magazine, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, and American Chordata.

Rina Dutta

Rina Dutta is an actress based in NYC. Since graduating NYU in 2021, she participated in a mixed reality play at produced by Media Art Xploration and she has done a variety of modeling gigs. She is thrilled to be a part of this project with so many great people.

James Henry

James Henry's recent TV/Film credits include the indie film Sirens and Gareth Edwards' upcoming blockbuster True Love. He was a semi-finalist for the AITAF Bridge Award for playwrighting in 2022 and has written and directed multiple award-winning short films. James is a combat veteran and graduate of West Point.

Maggie Lacey*

Maggie Lacey's recent tv/film work includes I Know What You Did Last Summer for Amazon Prime and the Indie film Out and About. She has worked extensively on Broadway, off-Broadway and in Regional Theatre. With her classmates from NYU's Graduate Acting Program, she co-wrote and starred in off-Broadway's Big Times, directed by Leigh Silverman. Maggie is the mother of two boys and is the recipient of a Fox Foundation Fellowship Grant.

Jay Myers*

Since graduating from NYU's Graduate Acting Program in 2020 at the height of the pandemic, Jay has worked extensively in voiceover earning four Best Performance of the Year nominations for his audiobook and tv documentary narrations, as well as a roster of clients and collaborators including BMW, Netflix, Samsung, Spotify, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, Penguin Random House, among many others. He's glad to once again be back onstage with this group of artists and friends

Lea Zawada

Lea recently graduated as a member of NYU’s Grad Acting class of 2021. In the last several months, she has appeared as Rose Holby in FBI; Inheritance and as Ana Castro in Law & Order: Organized Crime; As Hubris is to Oedipus. Earlier this year she performed as Abigail Thatcher in the horror film Your Ears Shall Bleed, produced by Jim and Lynn Kouf. Lea is thrilled to be involved in There Is No Eden.
